So, cheating, huh? Ever thought about doing a revenge by cheating? Well, I did and I must've done it, too...I guess?? Hehehe, but cheating has a lot and not to mention - different facets. It can be cheating on examinations, games, death(???) and even pregnancy tests.. haha! I'm just kidding. Anyway, whenever we heard the word cheating, the first thing that comes to our mind is relationships, am I right?
I read this article about why some people cheat, and one of the reasons why they do it is because they lack self-esteem and are insecure. Really, though? And by cheating, they think they'll earn self-esteem and feel like they're the coolest person alive? People really think that to cure insecurities they must cheat on their partner? It seems non-sense to me.
I asked Google (hey, don't judge me if I preferred to ask a search engine than a real person) why do people cheat and this is its respond;
"People cheat because of problems in their relationship. Something is missing, passion has faded, partners feel lonely, a partner finds someone who treats them better or who appreciates them more than their current spouse, and so on."
See? In my point of view, people cheat because something is missing, something is not right. But we have a choice when faced into the trap of a temptation, fall for it or fight it. Unfortunately, most of us fall for it. You know, cheating doesn't need to have physical contact with other people; deleting messages or calls to hide them from your boyfriend or girlfriend, that's already a form of cheating.
Cheating is not and will never be an accident, ladies and gentlemen. You know what you are doing and you know it would badly hurt not just someone - but someone you care about, isn't that enough for a reason to stop cheating?
Once we realized we're being cheated on, it's difficult for us to regain our trust. Before you cheat, think of the aftermath, us, the victims will have to go through. Don't be selfish, honesty is all what we wanted.
Why cheat if you could just leave? Why make it harder for the other party? If you don't love them anymore, why not just set them free - set us free? Every single of us has feelings, if you no longer want to be with them then they have the right to be informed and end things well with them. Ending the relationship will be hard at first but you'll make it easier for them to move on.
